Are you looking for a therapist who just gets it? Do you want to dive right into working on the obstacles and goals which brought you to therapy in the first place? I often hear from clients that I offer their first experience of therapy which feels genuinely validating, non-judgmental and accepting of their true/ authentic selves. I have been working with individuals and families for over twelve years. I hold an MA in Counseling, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Francisco.
I have completed extensive trainings in adoptions, gender identity and sexual orientation, foster care, mindfulness and emotional regulation, trauma and trauma informed parenting, attachment therapy, family therapy and an unconditional care model. I draw a therapeutic theories stemming from feminist, humanistic, relational, strengths-based therapy to provide a safe environment.
My hope is to collaborate with clients in order to explore emotional and personal challenges, all while using warmth, insight, and humor. I feel honored, holding an immense amount of respect for the powerful and deep work of healing and personal growth my clients allow me to share with them.
